Great Week at NDLC!

Good Afternoon, It was such an awesome week being able to connect with everyone for conferences. The students were very proud, and having them be a part of the conferences sharing their learning and growth they are accomplishing daily made for special nights. I am grateful for everyone's support, and it has been a very strong start to the school year! I look forward to seeing the continued growth the students will achieve, and having a strong foundation and connection between home and school is a major factor in that so I am very thankful for all you do! Good Afternoon, It was another awesome week, and the students earning their celebration yesterday was awesome because they saw how if they work hard towards something they can reap the rewards which is exactly the kind of learners and leaders we want. The students have been working hard daily in all areas, and I am really proud of the group coming together supporting each other, and pushing each other daily to reach their goals. I am excited to see everyone next week for conferences, and share all the good things that are happening on a daily basis in 4th grade! Week in Review: Leader in Me:  We put our WIGs, lead measures, scoreboards, and accountability partners to paper. The students know have an understanding of what is their goal, how they are going to work towards it and by when, how they will celebrate, and who is going to hold them accountable. Good Afternoon, As we embark on another month of the school year, I am really proud of the progress that has been made the first two months. Everyone has settled into routines, and are setting goals daily to help lift the level of their learning. Every single day each kid is coming in ready to give their best effort and have a positive attitude, and that starts at home so I appreciate everything that is happening at home to support your child in their learning journey. I look forward to another great month ahead full of growth academically and socially! Week in Review: Leader in Me:  This week we learned about Wildly Important Goals (WIGs) and how to take steps to achieve our goals! Invite your learner to share their Wildly Important Goal (WIG) with you. Encourage your learner to teach you how to set a WIG. Writing:  Writers put together their personal essays, and made sure the content of the essay was worth of the structure to 'keep it up right'. We focused on the evidence wit
