What a Memorable Week

Good Morning,

It was such a memorable week beginning with the 4th Grade concert where it was amazing to see all of the student's hard work and effort on display for everyone to see. It is a Farewell concert, but it serves as a springboard of sorts because even though the students time at NDLC may be coming to an end, their future is one that will continue to inspire and be bright. I am so proud of every single one of them, and thank you to all the families for your support because it doesn't happen by accident when you get such a special group of kids, that starts at home so be extremely proud. Our day at Lambeau couldn't have been any more percent, and some of the memories are captured here in this document, enjoy!

  • Tuesday, May 30th - End of Year Picnic at Horseshoe Park starting at Noon
  • Wednesday, May 31st - NDLC Field Day
    • Wear active wear
  • Tuesday, June 6th
    • Half Day - Last Day of School

Good Afternoon, As we launch into a brand new school year I wanted to say it was a great week getting to know all of the students a little bit better every single day. It is a very fun and outgoing group, and I am excited to see all that the students accomplish and grow this year both academically and socially. Say Do You Remember...That Week in September

Good Afternoon, The days keep rolling by, and when you look up at the calendar it's hard to believe that next week is already the last week in September. We are 14 days into the school year already, and students have seemingly settled into the routines of the school year. I have been impressed with the leaders we have in the classroom not only setting the example for their peers, but the younger Huskies here at NDLC. The 4th graders are working hard everyday, so I hope they enjoy the time away from school to sharpen their saw so that they can come to school ready to be the best version of themselves. Halftime of April!

Good Afternoon, This week the students finished up yet another round of forward testing with just the math sessions remaining next week. I have been proud of their continued efforts as testing can take a lot of time and energy, but remaining consistent with their effort is imperative. For them, finding the motivation to continue to be their best self, being kind, safe, and respectful as we head towards the end of the school year because as the weather gets better it can get harder to want to keep that energy high in the classroom as well. I'm excited for them to finish the school year strong, and be proud of all the growth they have made.
